WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) is a data transmission system designed to provide location independent network access between computing device by using infra-red and radio waves rather than cable infrastructure. It is amongst the most happening technologies today, and has recently become can seamlessly integrate and work with the existing networks. Since some wireless LAN use RF (Radio Frequency) for communication, their signals aren’t limited to the line of sight and penetrate various surfaces, like walls and doors.
